Simulation of the N-MFSK Method Used for Laser-Induced Acoustic Communication

Abstract Laser-induced acoustic (LIA) technology is a possible way of communicating from an air platform to underwater target. The present paper describes modulation method n-multiple frequency shift keying (n-MFSK) used for improving the communication rate LIA technology. thermal expansion mechanism was selected as generating signal by pulse laser in this work. Thus, pulsed repetition (PRF) can be realize n-MFSK controlling and allocating periods time domain. results numerical simulation show that improve band utilization compared with traditional n-frequency (n-FSK) modulation.
